New opportunities for highly motivated research scientists
Isogenica Ltd is an established biopharmaceutical company located on the outskirts of Cambridge, UK. Isogenica has developed a cutting edge in vitro display technology called CIS display which it is using to discover biologically active peptides, proteins and antibodies. The company is also generating revenues by establishing partnerships with large pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies (e.g. Amgen, Wyeth, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson). The company now seeks to augment its research capacity through the appointment of a number of highly motivated and innovative scientists. .
Applicants should be ambitious PhD qualified molecular biologists, or graduate molecular biologists with at least 3 years laboratory experience, preferably with knowledge of directed evolution techniques such as phage display and/or in vitro display technologies.
We are looking for a PhD qualified protein or peptide chemist that can take responsibility for peptide synthesis and peptide purification and characterisation. Applicants that can additionally contribute to the analysis of protein-protein interactions would be particularly welcome.
We are looking for a graduate or individual with relevant experience that take responsibility for day to day laboratory tasks such as buffer and media preparation, consumables management and the maintenance of tissue culture stocks. Molecular biology experience would be an advantage but is not a requirement for the post.
